Poked & Proded Today

Short-n-sweet. Doctor's appointment today. Blood test... Uncoporative arm veins... Two needles.... Peeing in a cup... All add up to one great afternoon! Oh - and I might get lucky and get an appointment with an Allergist....MAYBE this year! How wonderful! Night night.....zzzzzzzzz

It's THAT Time Again....Back To School!

My kids went back to school today....finally!

They were both very excited and happy to go!

Strange.

Any who....

Here is my grade seven'er...

And my grade three'er...

All happy and content waiting for their school bus to pick them up...

But not Winston - he's going to miss the kids during the day.

Here he is....watching that school bus get closer and closer...

I Haven't Watched The News For One Whole Week!

One week ago today I stopped watching the news.

I do see the odd story in my Facebook and Twitter feeds....maybe I should unfriend and unfollow those people!

Two Days - Still No News!

Besides seeing a few updates from my Facebook and Twitter feeds, I still have no idea of what's going on in this crazy world.

But I did see the following:

One story about a woman in London...who refused to give up her hair salon to the THUGS who have gone crazy....GOOD FOR HER!!

And one story about a company in Ottawa, who is closing shop - laying off 200 employees. Well, 18 of them played the lotto and won Wednesday's 6/49 - SEVEN MILLION DOLLARS!! Awesome!

Don't know who died today.
Don't know who was murdered today.
Don't know about the companies closing down today.
Don't know if the stock market is up or down today.
Don't know about the double-dip recession that may or may not happen today.

....etc., etc., etc.

I Quit Watching The News.....

And I quit going to news websites...it's been almost 24 hours. Woohoo! I posted a little rant on my Facebook about it last night. Just so tired of hearing about doom and gloom....it was actually making me depressed.

I know I won't be able to hide from it all...but for now, I like what I'm doing.

I bought Porta De Rossie's book today "Unbearable Lightness" - and off I go to start reading it.

New Blogger - Again.

And that's all I have to say about that!
