I took my daughter to see her first concert at ScotiaBank Place in Ottawa....
We Own The Night Tour!!
I must say - Selena is AWESOME!! Super cute! Sang really well and engaged in some pretty touching stories about her fans, bullies - #nomorebullies and #beingtruetoyourself.
Made me cry...*sniff* *sniff*
What can I say; I'm a baby!
One of Selena's opening act - Christina Grimmie was pretty good as well! My daughter is a HUGE fan now!! I even downloaded one of her songs from iTunes; Advice
We were too far to take any decent pics of Selena!
Didn't matter though. It was an amazing night!
While out for a walk on Monday; a garbage bag containing bear guts.
Some idiot hunter threw the bag in the ditch! Why? No idea!
Our dog was the first one to find the bag, and he had a little fun with it.
Can you say DISGUSTING?
Then the kids went to take a peek at it....
Country life is gross!

My friend took us to this place on Saturday.....and wow....just WOW. The view was amazing! A little bit scary - nah - A LOT scary!!
It was about a 40 minutes hike up to the top.....kids had a blast! Dogs had a blast!
We will definitely be going back again...probably next weekend.
Maybe the leaves will of changed more by then!
And a little message to LL - to bad we didn't know about this while you and R were visiting....I know you would of loved it!
We saw a monkey in the tree....
...and then a sloth...
My little photographer...heading up to the top....
...and this is the view at the top!
Straight down! That would hurt.
Yup....pretty high! 400 feet high!
Lauren looking over the edge...
Snap Snap Snap away....
Love this one!
Taking a little break...
Sitting in the "nest" part!

It was sooooooooooooo cold today.
We were planning on going to the ski hill in Calabogie, and take the chair lift up the mountain, but it was freezzzingggggg cold!
So instead, we ventured out to one of my favourite places to visit....Pakenham and the Five Arch Bridge.
The water was extremely low.
I found a strangers flickr picture to show you what it normally looks like.
In the summer time, people can be found walking in it (guilty!) but there are two big signs that warn NOT to do it....strong undertow. A man died there this summer doing that. The current is so strong; it's easy to lose your balance.
I don't think we'll be wading in the water there anymore...
In the first picture, where the kids, dad and the dog are walking, there is usually a nice stream of water rushing down.
Not today. Bone dry.
Winston loves to lay down in the water....doesn't matter how cold it is!
